We are pleased to announce the appointment of Michele Wallace as the newest member of our LESD79 Governing Board. With a deep-rooted passion for education and a wealth of experience, Michele brings a valuable perspective to the Governing Board.

Michele Wallace has been a resident of Arizona for the past 17 years, relocating from Michigan after graduating from Western Michigan University with a degree in Education. She initially moved to Arizona to pursue her passion for teaching at a local elementary school. While her journey led her to take on roles in the corporate sector for a time, Michele's dedication to education remained unwavering. Holding a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Michele is committed to ensuring educational excellence and supporting the growth of every student.

Michele resides in Goodyear with her husband Scott and their two children, both of whom attend LESD79. Outside of her professional endeavors, Michele and her family enjoy traveling and actively participate in their children's sporting events. They also cherish moments spent playing games and connecting with extended family and friends.
